The Business Administration - Business Management program has a Christian-driven aim to prepare men and women for the workforce with both professional and personal teachings. A foundation in Biblical and religious studies helps each student have a further understanding of how Christian values influence business ethics, and how faith influences professional goals. Courses in accounting, communication, management, marketing, and other classes with business-oriented curriculum equip each student for their desired career in the business field.

 

Opportunities with a Business Management degree:

The Bachelor of Science with Business Administration - Business Management degree establishes the ground for a student to continue their pursuit of higher education in the graduate level, such as a Master's degree in Business ManagementBusiness Marketing, or Business Administration. Not only is this degree beneficial towards achieving further education, the Business degree prepares a student for placement in immediate employment. Those with a Business degree find job placement in a variety of vocations, ranging from positions in corporations, banks, and government agencies.

Program Details

The Business Management program provides a broad general education with Biblical studies at the core, to prepare students to serve and to function successfully in business. The student overall objectives are to:

  • Deliver effective written and oral business communications which are clear, logical, concise, grammatically correct, and clear to a target audience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize the underlying ethical, legal and sustainability implications inherent in business situations and apply that knowledge to make responsible decisions.
  • Exhibit an understanding of the value of various forms of diversity in the business environment.
  • Understand and predict the complexities of the cultural, economic, regulatory, demographic, and social environments as they impact business in a global economy.
  • Use technology and analytical skills to make sound business decisions using the computer and qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Demonstrate functional business knowledge in each of the core foundational disciplines of accounting, business law, economics, finance, marketing, and management.
