Autumn Vandivort to Become Director of Library Services

Dr. Brent Sykes, Academic Dean, is pleased to announce that RU Alum ’21 Autumn Vandivort will assume the role of Director of Library Services beginning this summer. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Letters, she pursued a Master of Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma. During the four years that she attended Randall University as a student, she gained valuable experience and knowledge through her education and working in the library as a student worker. Said Dr. Sykes, “It is always special to hire one of our own because they understand and have been personally impacted by the mission. I am excited to empower Ms. Vandivort to enact a compelling vision to improve our strong foundation of library services and provide resources to support students in their academic journeys.”

Autumn believes that reading is a crucial part of education and the Christian life, given that what we know of God comes largely from His written Word. She believes that the library is an essential part of higher education providing valuable resources for students in both ministry and other fields of study. Autumn lives on a farm outside of Washington, OK where she has lived her whole life. She enjoys gardening, raising livestock and of course reading.

Ms. Vandivort will follow Ms. Nancy Draper, Director of Library Services, who has faithfully served at Randall University since 1977.
