Randall University offers a 33-hour master’s degree in educational leadership. The degree will prepare you for administrative and leadership positions in schools. Students will have access to a rigorous, high-quality program designed to meet working professionals' needs by offering face-to-face and online classes supplemented with outside research activities and field experiences. The program suits working professionals expected to serve with distinction in demanding positions while completing the degree. As a student in our program, you will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences that will prepare you to be a truly dynamic school instructional leader. Our faculty are outstanding leaders in the educational leadership profession, and you will learn from them what it takes to become a dynamic and great instructional leader.

For those seeking principal alternative certification, this program is also for you. For those desiring alternative certification, you will be able to complete the required courses for the alternative certification program since it is embedded in the related coursework. This program will prepare you to take the Oklahoma Certification exam for building-level principals. Preparation for the exam is embedded into the program.

Randall’s Master’s in Educational Leadership Degree has been approved by the State of Oklahoma as meeting preparation standards for building-level school leadership licenses and certificates. It has also received national accreditation.

Program Goals

Admission Requirements

Randall University utilizes an online graduate application system available here.

The following are required for admission into the program.

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 2.5.
  • Official transcripts from colleges previously attended.

Principal Alternative Certification

If you already have a Master's degree, this program will allow you to meet the requirements for principal alternative certification. Preparation for the certification exam is embedded in the program.

Student Financial Aid

TEACHER LOAN FORGIVENESS:

Under the Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program, if you teach full-time for five complete and consecutive academic years in a low-income school or educational service agency, and meet other qualifications, you may be eligible for forgiveness of up to $17,500 on your Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans and your Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

Complete and submit the online application form (begin on this page) along with a $40 application fee.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

A baccalaureate degree with GPA of 2.5 or higher from an accredited institution is required. Send a Request for Official Transcripts to each college or university you have previously attended. (Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.)

STATEMENT OF GOALS

Write a Statement of Goals which lists your goals/plans and explains how the degree will help you fulfill them.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS STATEMENT

Read and sign the Biblical Foundations Statement. Submit this form with your application.

FINACIAL AID

If needed, apply for financial assistance or scholarships by filling out the Scholarship Application Form and the FAFSA. After the forms are completed, schedule an appointment with the Financial Aid Officer.
