General Scholarships

The General Scholarships that are available, and any criteria that must be met, are listed in Randall’s catalog. Some have very specific criteria while others may have a broader basis for consideration.

General Scholarships are funded by donations from our constituents. Sacrifices are made by churches and individuals to make education at Randall affordable. Therefore, when a student receives a Randall University General Scholarship, it is based on the condition that the student will cooperate with the college to facilitate the raising of needed funds. Cooperation may include allowing a photograph to be taken of the student for publication, and/or releasing testimony and biographical information for publication. Recipients are required to write a thank you card to the scholarship donors. Cards will be provided by the Office of Institutional Advancement.

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for awarding all general scholarships. These scholarships are only awarded in the Spring semester. Recipients will be notified by email and/or phone when the scholarships are awarded.

On a separate document, type an essay addressing the following questions:
- Why should you be considered for a General Scholarship Award?
- What are your future plans?
- How would a scholarship award help you achieve your ultimate goals and further the Kingdom of God?
- Do you have a financial need?

Attach your essay to this application and submit it before the first day of Thanksgiving Break.

Awards will be made before the end of the Fall semester and general scholarships will be applied in the Spring semester.
