Randall Hires New Volleyball Head Coach

After a very successful 26-11 season, Head Volleyball Coach Sarah Rhodes resigned in order to accept a coaching position at her alma mater, Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. We are very grateful for Sarah and the impact she had on her players both on and off the court. We wish her the best in this next chapter!

Randall University Athletic Director Mark Berokoff is excited to announce Mike Freeman as the newest member of the Randall University Coaching Staff.

Coach Freeman has been involved in coaching volleyball for 30-plus years. He has had the opportunity to learn from Team USA coaches as well as some of the top college coaches in the United States. Coach Freeman served as both an assistant and head coach at Casady High School from 2000-2011 and has played competitively at all levels in men’s volleyball. He has been a board member for the Oklahoma Region Volleyball Association for 15 years. Coach Freeman started the Kaizen Volleyball Club in Oklahoma City in 1995, presently one of the oldest clubs in the state with both boys’ teams and girls’ teams competing all over the United States. Coach Freeman has also been involved in the High Performance program either as a tryout coach or a head coach since 2010 and just ended a five-year stint coaching at  Mid-America Christian University.

Berokoff feels Coach Freeman brings a wealth of experience both locally and nationally. His recruiting ties within the state are going to be able to raise the level of our women’s volleyball program. Coach Freeman is excited to start a new chapter at as the head women’s volleyball coach at Randall University.
