New Business Program Director


Richard Mencer

Brent Sykes, Academic Dean, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Mencer as Director of the Business Administration Program at Randall University. Under the previous direction of Frances Wade, the program has grown to four specializations and is one of the largest degree programs at Randall.

"Mr. Mencer's varied experiences in business will allow him to serve the needs of our educational and vocational needs of our students, as well as lead business faculty members. More importantly, his lifelong to commitment to ministry in the church and workplace will equip our students to serve in the local church and their communities. About Richard

Richard Mencer comes to Randall University with over 30 years of business and ministry experience, including owning and/or operating specialty retail stores across the United States. Rich is an ordained Baptist Minister and Deacon, having served on church staffs in five states in different capacities, including Pastor, Interim Pastor, and Minister to College Students, Single Adults and Youth. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR, and received his MBA from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK.

Rich and his wife have four children, one son-in-law, and two dogs. He and his family live in NW Oklahoma City. They are excited to be a part of the Randall Community, and when asked why he chose  to work at RU, he replied:

I am humbled and excited to have the opportunity to work alongside the rest of the staff at RU and to be able to combine my background in business and ministry to assist in God’s calling to challenge and educate students to live like Jesus.
