New Appointment: Beth Harper

Randall University is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Beth Harper as the new Director of the Secondary Education Program and Instructor of Math.

Professor Harper comes to Randall University after 37 years teaching mathematics in Moore Public Schools where she taught both at the junior high and high school levels. Her educational philosophy—that anyone can learn any level of math if they have an open mind and the right teacher—is a perfect fit for two values we hold dear at Randall: a growth mindset and small classes sizes that lead to strong teacher-student and student-student relationships.

Professor Harper will also be an asset to the School of Education Leadership Team, having served as department head for the last nine years at Southmoore High School. In this capacity, she assisted teachers with classroom management issues, developed curriculum and activities for different topics, and provided encouragement for teachers. A twice-certified National Board Certified teacher, Professor Harper's commitment to continuous learning will serve her well at the university level and as a role model to her students.

Please join us in welcoming Professor Harper to these new roles!
