Randall University Announces Jerime Parker as Chair of Teacher Education

MOORE, OK — Randall University is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jerime Parker as the new Chair of Teacher Education, effective immediately. With more than 30 years of experience in public education and a reputation for visionary leadership, Mr. Parker brings a deep passion for preparing future educators and advancing excellence in teacher training.

Mr. Parker most recently served as Superintendent of Amber-Pocasset Public Schools, overseeing a district of more than 400 students with a $6.5 million annual budget. Under his leadership, the district passed and completed two major bond initiatives totaling over $28 million, significantly enhancing educational facilities and safety measures.

His career also includes roles as high school principal at Amber-Pocasset and Dibble Public Schools, and elementary principal at Middleberg Public School. Mr. Parker began his career as a teacher and coach in Lawton and Moore, Oklahoma, teaching U.S. history, geography, and physical education while coaching multiple sports.

“Jerime Parker is a proven leader with a heart for students and a passion for the teaching profession,” said Dr. Jay McCurry, Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Randall University. “We are honored to welcome him to Randall, where his experience and vision will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of educators.”

Mr. Parker holds a Master of Science in Education Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education with a minor in American History from Cameron University. He is certified in Oklahoma as a Superintendent, Elementary and Secondary Principal, and in multiple teaching areas.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Parker has served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma School Assurance Group and the Organization of Oklahoma Rural Schools, and as Executive Director for Region 14 of the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators. He and his family are active members of the Free Will Baptist Church in Dibble, Oklahoma.
