Evan committed his life to the Lord at the age of 14 and surrendered to ministry at the age of 17. After graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1989 he served on staff as a worship pastor in churches in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. While serving on church staff, Evan maintained a private music studio where he gave private instruction in voice, piano and saxophone. During this time, he continued to study voice on a regular basis.
In addition to serving as a worship pastor in a variety of churches, Evan also served as a discipleship pastor and a youth minister, worked for the state of Oklahoma, substituted in the public school system, briefly sang in an opera company, and has various retail and management experience. In total, he has over 30 years of ministry and teaching experience.
Evan began working at Randall University in the fall of 2013 in various positions including Conducting Instructor, the Director of New Life Singers, Revive and Concert Chorale. He continues to serve as Vocal Instructor, Admissions/ Financial Aid Counselor and is now the Director of Online Worship Studies. Evan still maintains a private music studio, travels to speak, sing and lead worship and conferences at other churches and organizations when he can, and serves on staff as Worship Pastor at Kingsview Church in Oklahoma City.
