Dr. Jay McCurry Hired as Provost and Chief Academic Officer


Dr. Jay McCurry brings over two decades of leadership in Christian education and ministry to his role as Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Randall University. With a deep commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and servant leadership, Dr. McCurry is passionate about equipping students to live out their faith with clarity, purpose, and boldness.

He holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degree from Oakland City University and a Doctorate in Christian Education degree from Pillsbury College and Seminary. His academic background also includes a Master of Arts degree in Education from Oral Roberts University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Relations from Southern Nazarene University.

Dr. McCurry has served on the boards of the Jesus House and Big Brothers Big Sisters (both in OKC) and is a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary International, reflecting his longstanding commitment to service and community engagement.

A devoted husband and father, Dr. McCurry and his wife, Kelly, have been married since 1999. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a Master’s degree in Education from Oral Roberts University. They are the proud parents of four daughters. Abigayle (23) graduates in May from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Aliya (20) will be a Junior Musical Theatre major at Oral Roberts University. Adah (18) will be an incoming freshman Biology major at Randall University. Ari (15) will be a sophomore in high school. They will be moving to Moore over the summer.
