Collide 2016: asking the hard questions

A 4-week youth event packed with powerful worship, exciting speakers, opportunities for fellowship, and sermons focused the hard questions of life.

Over the past few years, Randall University has given the youth of Oklahoma a powerful new experience called Collide. This year, we tackle topics that every believer and nonbeliever faces. Experience growth in a way you won’t anywhere else. This year, we will be led by guest speakers from across the country who will encourage us to ask the hard questions of life. Special Event: Campus Days!

Our Collide event on March 6 will coincide with our spring Campus Days event, an opportunity for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to spend an overnight here on Randall’s campus and experience college life up close and personal. “A Call to Ministry”

Kirk Pankratz

Kirk Pankratz is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Church of the Harvest, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a multi-site church with 5 locations, Harvest symbolizes a fresh, new movement in Spirit-filled churches. Pastor Kirk’s message and model is one of bold leadership, strong family and an unyielding commitment to the young generation. His practical and challenging presentation of the Word of God is a relevant and needed voice in the church-world today. He and his wife, Nancy, have been married over 33 years, and they have three adult married children and two grandchildren.

The March 6 Collide event coincides with our spring Campus Daysevent which will be held March 6-7. Campus Days is an opportunity for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to spend a night on campus, meet with professors and students, and even attend a class. “If God is Good, Why is there Suffering?”

Spencer Ledbetter

Dr. Spencer Ledbetter is an instructor of Bible at Randall University. In his youth, he became committed to studying the Word of God diligently in pursuit of truth and asking tough questions of life and death which are answered in scripture.

Dr. Ledbetter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Economics and Communications from Oberlin College (Ohio); a Masters in Theological Studies from the Harvard School of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from the Oxford Graduate School.

In addition to teaching at several colleges, Dr. Ledbetter has served as pastor of the Cross of Calvary Church in Oklahoma City since 1994. He has also ministered through radio and missions internationally. He has authored two books. His messages tackle issues germane to gaining a more firm understanding of scripture.

Spencer and his wife, Jackie, currently reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have four children and multiple grandchildren.You can also learn more about the ministry of Dr. Ledbetter on his website.

“Is Christianity Logical?”

Denny Kuhn

Denny Kuhn is the Director of the Letters Program at Randall University, where he also teaches philosophy, apologetics, and ethics.

Mr. Kuhn received a B.S. in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Ball State University, an M.A. in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary, and is currently working on a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a contributor to the Theological Symposium and publishes quarterly apologetics columns for The Brink magazine (Randall House).

Mr. Kuhn is married to Hillarie, and they have a daughter Sophia, and a new baby girl, Abigail.

“Why Choose Jesus?”

Adam Barnett

Adam Barnett is the Associate Pastor at Redeemer Covenant Church in Tulsa, OK. With over ten years of full-time ministry experience, Adam has also served as a Youth and College Pastor. Between 2010-2015, he taught between 800-1,000 college students on a weekly basis from the University of Oklahoma and surrounding schools. Adam is also passionate about ministering to athletes, serving many throughout their collegiate and professional careers. He has served and spoken in over 30 countries around the world, and has taken 7 teams of collegiate and professional athletes to serve in Haiti. Documentaries from these trips have been shown on ESPN and Fox Sports.

Adam graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Religious Studies in 2005 and is currently pursuing his Masters Degree from North Park Theological Seminary.

Adam married his best friend, Andrea, in 2004 and they have four children: Gracia (10), Ellie (6), Andre (5) and Macy (3). The Barnett family is committed to serve the local church, as well as various mission organizations around the world.
