Jamie Bond Hired as the Chair of the Randall School of Teacher Education


Dr. Brent Sykes, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Randall University, is pleased to announce Ms. Jamie Bond as the new Chair of the Randall School of Teacher Education effective March 1, 2025.

Said Dr. Sykes, “Ms. Bond brings a wide range of experience and educational roles to Randall University. Collectively, these have provided a unique opportunity for Jamie to develop an educational philosophy and ethic that values diverse and holistic learning. I am excited for her to begin serving students and lead our program.” Ms. Bond’s varied experiences include classroom instruction, administration, teaching English as a Second Language overseas, university instruction, and most recently serving as the Dean of Admissions and Registrar at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.

As an educational leader, Ms. Bond created a virtual program for a rural district and established educational initiatives focused on stress management for high-achieving students, led a growth mindset initiative, trained faculty on interventions for high truancy, led restorative justice training for teachers, and facilitated student conflict resolution. Her extensive experience across various educational settings equips her with the expertise to effectively prepare future educators in Oklahoma, regardless of demographic or school district.

Ms. Bond earned her bachelor’s degree in education & interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Biblical Studies from Oklahoma Christian University where she also played collegiate basketball. She completed her first master’s degree in English Education in 2016 and a second master’s degree in educational leadership, Curriculum, and Supervision in 2020, both from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership, Curriculum, and Supervision at the University of Oklahoma, with an expected graduation in spring 2027.

Ms. Bond lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with her youngest child, Beck. She has two older children, AJ and Luke who live in Chicago and attend the Art Institute of Chicago. She also has two cats, Goose and Cleopatra, and a beloved mutt named Russell Westbrook.
